the last supper

A table in burnished steel (four metres long) and 12 chairs. The surface of the table has just one face and a single edge. Symbol of the infinite (Möbius), without distinction between the inner and the outer, it represents Christ. The chairs are the Apostles. All are burnished apart from Judas, who has a mirror finish. In Judas, everyone can recognise themselves when action is accompanied by falsity and merely personal and particular interest. For EXPO period at Fondazione Stelline Corso Magenta, 61 Milan
